If the previous owner took a very good care of his/her condo, 5 years old condo can still look pretty new.

If it’s still in very good condition, I would rather buy the old condo.

Check to make sure that you got the fair market price before you purchase and hire some knowledgeble person to inspect all the plumbing and electrical items.
